Abstract
Ten species, including two new ones, Myrmarachne daweishan sp. nov., and Myrmarachne dujuan sp. nov., belong to four genera of the subtribe Myrmarachnina Simon, 1901 are reported from South China. The unknown sexes of Emertonius thaii (Żabka, 1985) comb. nov. (transferred from Myrmarachne MacLeay, 1839 and newly recorded from China), Myrmapeni borneensis (Peckham & Peckham, 1907), Myrmarachne brevis Xiao, 2002, Myrmarachne hamata Wang, Mi & Peng, 2023, Myrmarachne hashimotoi Yamasaki, 2018 (newly recorded from China), and Myrmarachne leptosoma Yamasaki, 2018 (newly recorded from China) are described for the first time. Two new junior synonyms are proposed: Myrmarachne circulus Xiao & Wang, 2004 syn. nov. = Myrmaplata turriformis (Badcock, 1918); Myrmarachne fredwanlessi Logunov, 2021 syn. nov. = M. hashimotoi Yamasaki, 2018. The described females of Myrmarachne circulus, and M. fredwanlessi are considered to be mismatched and respectively belong to Myrmarachne xingrenensis Wang, Mi & Peng, 2023, and M. singularis Logunov, 2021.
